Why Choose This Activity
Goes Together works well when you want warm, familiar word associations without time pressure. Everyday pairs - tools, clothing, weather, food - feel reassuring on Memory Care and Sharp Mind paths. These are connections many people have known for years.
Hint and Explain buttons keep rounds forgiving, and three difficulty tiers match how familiar the word pairs are.
How It Plays
Read the word at the top and tap the answer that goes with it from three choices. Think of things used together, worn together, or naturally paired. Tap Hint beside the prompt for a clue; after a miss, tap Explain to read why the intended pair fits.
Settings & Difficulty
Levels: Easy / Medium / Hard
- Difficulty: Easy (very familiar pairs), Medium, or Hard (less common but still known)
- Rounds: 5, 8, or 10 per session
- Hint before answering; Explain after a miss
Facilitator Tips
- Start on Easy with familiar pairs like salt and pepper or rain and umbrella.
- If a distractor also seems plausible, use Explain and talk about the intended connection.
- Hint gives a gentle nudge without revealing the answer outright.
- Take your time - there is no timer on each round.
- Changing difficulty or round count after Start restarts the game.
