Animal Sounds works well when you want something warm and familiar that sparks conversation. Farm, house, and wild animal voices feel reassuring to many people on Memory Care. There is no timer on each question, so the pace stays relaxed.
Familiar sounds and pictures lower the barrier to start, and replaying the sound as often as needed keeps the round forgiving.
How It Plays
Tap Listen to hear an animal sound, then choose from four pictures in a 2×2 grid. Tap Listen Again as often as needed before picking. Correct answers are highlighted in green and the next sound plays automatically until all rounds are done.
Settings & Difficulty
Levels: No difficulty settings
- Round count: 3, 5, 10, or 15 animals per game
- Changing rounds after Start restarts the game immediately
- Volume control in ConfigBar; no background music
Facilitator Tips
- Sound must be on to start - check the volume control in the top bar first.
- Encourage replaying the sound; there is no rush to answer.
- Talk about the animal between rounds - where it lives, past pets, or farm visits.
- Start with 3 or 5 rounds for a gentle warm-up; save 10 or 15 for a fuller session.
- If a sound is unclear, name the choices together before the person taps.
