Why Choose This Activity
Minesweeper suits Sharp Mind sessions when someone enjoys logical deduction on a grid. The classic number clues reward careful thinking without a rush. It works well as a focused solo puzzle during a quiet break.
Familiar minesweeper rules with flag support and seven board sizes let you match challenge to confidence.
How It Plays
Tap squares to open them. Numbers show how many mines touch that square (including diagonals). Flag suspected mines by long-pressing a square or switching to Flag mode. Clear every safe square to win - opening a mine ends the game.
Settings & Difficulty
Levels: No difficulty settings
- Seven board sizes from 6×6 (6 mines) to 16×16 (50 mines)
- Reveal or Flag mode toggle; long-press also flags on touch devices
- No sound or music; no time limit
Facilitator Tips
- Start on the smallest 6×6 board while learning flag and reveal controls.
- An empty green square means zero adjacent mines - nearby squares open automatically.
- Long-press (or right-click) to flag; flagged squares will not open on tap.
- The face button in the corner starts a new board anytime.
- The purple counter shows unmarked mines remaining (total mines minus flags placed).
