Why Choose This Activity
Jigsaw Puzzle suits a calm, focused session on any program path when someone enjoys rebuilding a familiar picture. Auto-snap removes the frustration of exact placement, and pieces never need rotating. Guide can show a faded preview for gentler support.
Drag-from-tray play with forgiving auto-snap and adjustable grid size makes jigsaw-style puzzles accessible without rotation mechanics.
How It Plays
Choose a scene and grid size, then tap Start. Drag pieces from the tray at the bottom onto the board above. When a piece is near its correct spot, it snaps and locks in place. Finish when every piece is placed - no rotation required.
Settings & Difficulty
Levels: No difficulty settings
- Grid size: 2×2 through 6×6 (4 to 36 pieces)
- Scene picker or Random
- Guide toggle for faded background preview; no piece rotation
Facilitator Tips
- Start with a 2×2 or 3×3 grid for fewer pieces; 6×6 is the fullest challenge.
- Turn Guide on to show a faded finished picture behind the board.
- If a piece will not snap, try a different spot - auto-snap only locks the correct home.
- Look for colour or edge clues in the tray before placing.
- Random scene works well when choosing feels like too much effort.
